By Ferry
We are situated near to the border of Spain where Brittany Ferries do regular crossings from Portsmouth to Bilbao (a 2 hours 15 mins drive away) and Santander (a 3 hour drive away). Brittany Ferries also operate Portsmouth to Le Harve, Caen, Cherbourg or St Malo in North West France. Additionally, there several North Sea routes in addition to the Eurotunnel and cross channel ferries.
By Car
A car is recommended to get around as Maison Bidas is situated in the open countryside. Cars can be hired from the airports with competitive daily rates. Maison Bidas is easily accessible from the two main toll motorways, the A64 running from Bayonne to Toulouse via Pau and Tarbes, or the A63 which runs from Bordeaux right down to the Spanish Border.
